DESCRIPTION
The name not only refers to the impressively powerful structure of the Seismic but also recalls the severe earthquake that struck Tulbagh in 1969. The Seismic is highly durable and should be allowed to mature a bit, although it already makes a strong impression. The wine surprises with its deep, dark color and intense berry aromas as soon as it is poured. Subtle herbal notes and a bouquet of various spices come together on the palate to create an aromatic and full-bodied sensation. The firm tannins are well balanced by soft oak flavors and a beautiful, fruity richness.
