TASTING NOTES:
Petit Verdot is a deep black colored wine with a high natural acidity. Due to its robust nature, it is typically used in less than 10% of most wine blends. The name Petit Verdot ("little green") refers to one of the main issues with the grape variety in France, where it originated: because it ripens late, it doesn't always fully mature in Bordeaux's climate. In our climate, we don't have this problem, and the wine is amazing in its own way.
A full-bodied wine, dark brick colour with a nose of violets, black cherry, cigar box and chocolate. Firm fresh palate richly layered with plump dark fruit flavours and a smokey finish.
