The Pinotage has a distinct fruity Pinot Noir character! Grown on the limestone and clay soils of the hills between Stanford and Hermanus in the Walker Bay region. Aged for over a year in French and Hungarian oak. At first scent, it has a hint of gunpowder, then ripe strawberries, cocoa, blueberries, and blackberries. On the palate, it is soft with sweet fruit, fine acidity, and lots of black pepper.
Roast meat, game, rich meat dishes, and tasty stews.
